In 2022, Storex and Growex, grouped together as the Storex Growex Group (SGG), where SGG Tech provides Tech development, design & engineering, project management, general contracting, service, and tech support. SGG Energy provides a more competitive solution for Storex and Growex building designs in light of the increasing energy costs.  We have been developing gas-tight controlled atmosphere indoor cultivation and food or biomass storage technology for more than 10 years and realized more than $40M in profitable executed projects while developing IP.  SGG Finance is in the process of raising a green tech fund to offer support to SGG projects including the continued building process of a team of professionals in various fields of engineering expertise, architecture, software development, science, genetics, cultivation, compliance, quality control, and energy efficiency

Chris Treville

Co-Founder, Managing Director

Through Chris’ 30+ years of business development, and operational management experience, his vision, strategy, and team building have resulted in profitability in several diverse start-up companies including security, food manufacturing, and technology. In addition, Chris became a key part in the development of several patent applications related to indoor cultivation and food storage technology. His expertise in controlled atmosphere technology, food storage, and indoor cultivation has allowed his portfolio to grow over $40 million in executed projects within Canada, USA, Europe, and Israel.


Philip’s 15+ years of experience in controlled atmosphere engineering, research, and development began at Storex, based in the Netherlands.  In this role he lead Storex’s technical and IT team at the factory in Belgium that supported 25+ dealers worldwide.  This led to the opening of his own Storex dealership in Canada where he then joined Chris Treville in Montreal to focus on North and South American operations developing innovative products such as Growex, Chillex, Cahyb, Construx, Zero2, Net Zero Chiller, True-Vertical, and K2room.

Wee-Meng Yap brings 40+ years in technology, financing property development projects, and green energy. As a former Programmer Analyst with Ontario Hydro and with over 35 years of doing business between China and North America, Meng is able to apply his expertise to source for suppliers and finance SGG Energy’s projects. He looks forward to the challenges and new opportunities of scaling up the expansion in Chillex Projects.

Marcos Rodrigues

SGG Engineer & Project Manager

Marcos Rodrigues joined Storex in 2012 as an expert in Controlled Atmosphere Systems. His work was integral to the design, build, and execution of the gas-tight insulated metal panel structures and the installation of specialized Controlled Atmosphere equipment. During this time he continued his studies and went on to further expand his knowledge into electromechanics and automation technologies and assisted with the company's new technologies developments. In addition to Marcos' engineering and project management duties at SGG he will also be managing the service & maintenance department.


Melinda D. Sallyards is a Career Diplomat with over 30 years of experience, focused on agricultural trade policy and analysis.  She had successfully negotiated and implemented a multitude of agreements that opened up markets for U.S. agricultural products and worked to ensure that the food supply and distribution system were safe, open and efficient in the countries she served in.

Marcio Rodrigues

SGG Engineer & Project Manager

Marcio Rodrigues has over 10 years of experience in commercial, technicalcommercial, team building, professional development, strategic implementation and company collaboration spaces. In Brazil he has managed projects at large companies such as Usiminas and Vallourec. He welcomes challenge, and possesses great problem-solving, creativity, organizational, and negotiation skills. He holds a Civil engineer degree, a Master Degree in Structural Construction and he has MBA in Project Management.

Louis VIncent's last 15 years have been focused in developing one of the preeminent energy efficiency consulting firms in eastern Canada. His consulting firm has been at the forefront of important energy efficiency projects as well as building certifications for many important projects in Canada. His ability to look for the most successful strategy in the sustainability aspect of all types of projects is one of the reasons for his company’s success. He is now collaborating with the SGG energy team in identifying solutions, as well as planning strategies and participating in the development of these innovative energy supply solutions.

Mike Dill

Service Manager - Controlled Atmosphere Technician - Project Manager -

Refrigeration Engineer

Mike Dill has over 20 years of experience as a controlled atmosphere technician. In 2016, Mike was tasked with installing a new controlled atmosphere system at Vineland Growers in Niagara on the Lake (Niagara Region). As a result, new gastight rooms were erected, and existing rooms were retrofitted for CA. His expertise and experience in commercial/Industrial refrigeration, HVAC, and controlled atmosphere solutions makes him a great asset on the SGG team.


Emmanuel Bigot is the founder of Best Energies and brings his vast knowledge in optimizing, rendering profitable, and reducing the ecological impact of the energy production and distribution facilities and other collective Waste Management Engineer utilities.

Ludimilla Esteves

Business Development Director

Ludimila Esteves is a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer - Architect with extensive knowledge of the building process. She has over 10 years of experience across technical – commercial areas and supplies development at a large company. Ludimila is a forward-thinking professional in sustainable construction with environmentally- conscious designs. She also holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture and an MBA in Business Management.


Carol Lue

Waste Management Engineer

Carol Lue is a social entrepreneur and sustainability planning specialist with over 10 years of experience in the cleantech and sustainable waste management sectors. Her venture, CaribShare, pioneered the application of biogas technology to deliver Jamaica’s first organic waste recycling program to eight hotels in Montego Bay and operated a large-scale digester plant that transformed food waste into biogas and organic fertilizer. Carol brings her in-depth and practical on-the-ground expertise in developing and managing biogas projects and creating collaborative business models with farming groups to the SGG Energy team.
